1971 Block Riesling
Wine
Granite Hills 1971 Block Riesling is sourced from the winery's oldest Riesling block, planted at Baynton in central Victoria's Macedon Ranges in 1971.
The vines are perched high atop boulder strewn hills, where the cool climate conditions are perfect for Riesling. The fruit is handpicked prior to vinification. Only tiny quantities of this wine are produced.
Pale straw, Granite Hills 1971 Block Riesling is highly aromatic, balancing sweet fruit flavours and acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
